Wednesday from 5:30 pm – 6:45 pm
Vinyasa Yoga, based on the traditions of Ashtanga Yoga, uses a combination of postures linked by the breath to purify the body while releasing tension, burning fat, toning muscle, & stilling the mind. Students will be taught how to use the breath to guide them through practice and to move within their healthy range of motion.
This class focuses on developing your own personal practice, based on your body and your needs. We focus on the function of the posture not necessarily the form.
As one gains more strength, stamina, flexibility & concentration, additional asanas (postures) are given to the student if they wish to start home practice.
