For Girls Ages 11-14
Throughout this one day, three hour workshop, students will learn the skills and tools needed to deepen their awareness of stress and anxiety, and how it is impacts their body.We will practice various forms of breath work, yoga postures, and practice mindfulness and gratitude.
It is intended that participants leave the workshop with enough knowledge and understanding to bring these tools into their everyday life. Once we become empowered to take control of our bodies, great things can and will happen.
Participants will leave with a resource booklet and gratitude journal.
Investment: $60 includes the above resources, as well as a healthy snack.
Because Materials need to be ordered, Pre-registration is required up to three days before the workshop.

Olivia Rowe-Ovens is a Child and Youth Worker, as well as a registered Yoga Teacher. Olivia has been trained in Street Yoga, as well as Veterans Yoga Project, both focusing on trauma informed yoga teachings. Olivia has also been working with the ALCDSB for the last 10 years, with the last 6 being employed as Youth Worker. This role has allowed her to work directly with children who are experiencing many forms of stress, anxiety, and various forms of trauma.
Olivia is a mother to two boys, and resides in Kingston, ON with her children, husband, dog, and cat.
