Thursday from 2:30 pm – 4:00 pm
Ayurveda is the sister science to yoga and translates to “art of living”. The Ayurvedic model seeks to balance the individual person through awareness, lifestyle, yoga, and balancing the qualities of nature – which are in both our internal (body-mind) and external environments.
This class will include asana (postures), pranayama (breath work), and dhyana (meditation).
The Yoga practice component intends to harmonize our internal environment (body-mind) with the qualities that are dominant in nature. Our intention is to increase the understanding of Ayurveda so we can better apply these simple and ancient concepts to finding our own balance and harmony.
Yogis of any level of practice can take this class – from beginners onwards 🙂
