Sheila Firth-Warlund’s first exposure to yoga was in an Iyengar class in the mid-80s. She came back to the practice 10 years ago whilst deployed with the Canadian Forces.
She has since completed 200 hour YTT, and has studied with a variety of teachers including Richard Miller, Bo Forbes, Susi Hately and Mona Warner. Sheila has also trained with the Veterans’ Yoga Project.
As a military veteran, Sheila is aware of both the challenges of trauma and some of the deep healing and growth available through yoga and spiritual practice.
