Michelle completed her 200hr YTT at The Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in 2008.
Her Earth-based and heart-centred yoga is informed by her contemporary shamanic practice, her belief in the power of story, her love for healing song and her life as a mother.
As a teacher, Michelle is passionate about sharing practical and accessible tools that sustainably support each student’s journey through personal growth and empowerment. In the studio, she holds space for pause, for drawing inward and for integration.
As a human, Michelle is inspired by this powerful time of collective change. She is curious about the spaces where contemporary spiritual practices, storytelling and social justice intersect; where there is liberation in love, where there is right relationship with power, where there is alignment within and without, where there is truth and reconciliation.
Michelle also enjoys working one on one with clients as she weaves the shamanic journey, Reiki, Yin Yoga, healing sound and guided visualization into an energy healing practice. To learn more about her integrative work, visit:
