Do you sing in a choir or in your car? Want to improve your range and endurance?
Have you lost your voice after spending a day of speaking?
I will be leading an introductory workshop based on the Feldenkrais Method®: Natural and Gentle Voice Training utilizing your Whole Self.
The free workshop will be on
Sunday, March 8 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
And
Sunday, April 12 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
What is the Feldenkrais Method®?
Feldenkrais Method® is a mind-body approach, which combines movement and awareness to help the person sing and speak more comfortably and effectively. Moshe Feldenkrais developed this method.
Awareness Through Movement® (ATM) group (part of the Feldenkrais Method®) lessons are taught to groups in which I verbally guide the participants through a sequence of gentle movements that help reduce pain, improve posture, which expands your voice. The lessons will take place on the floor or on a chair. I do not touch the participants in the group lessons nor demonstrate the movements. After the lesson, the participants will be asked to notice what changes they perceive. Many experience deep relaxation, lightness, and enhancement in their voice.
