Susan, an RYT200 Kripalu trained Yoga Teacher, practices a light-hearted mindfulness in her teaching and shares that focus with students. Students in Susan’s yoga classes are invited to stay with their own experiences and deepen into their practice with profound mindfulness and intention. Susan has also studied with yoga masters in India, and spent time at different ashrams, including the Parmath Niketan Ashram in Rishikesh.
Susan is profoundly committed to walking the path of change as a Yoga Teacher, Professional Life Coach and a Mindfulness Facilitator. Her Masters of Adult Education from St. Francis Xavier University is in transformative learning. She trained as a Life Coach at the incredibly awesome Integral Coaching Canada. Susan is a member of International Coach Federation and follows their ethics and guidelines.
Susan’s daily practices are rooted in meditation, mindfulness and yoga, with as much laughter as possible. She has participated in a number of six and ten day Zen and Vipassana silent meditation retreats. Susan integrates a trauma informed sensitivity in her yoga classes and mindfulness programs. With permission, Susan applies gentle touch to guide your practice.
