Shane is a yoga teacher who uses Yoga as a tool to explore body, mind and Self; an opportunity to heal and to feel, to strengthen and to lengthen, to recreate and appreciate. He enjoys to practice in a safe and attentive way which allows for a soothing softness or a fiery intensity depending on where he is at that day.
Shane has taken a 200-Hatha Teacher Training and a 200-Kundalini Yoga Teacher training, as well as having completed a Master of Arts degree where he examined Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan. Students appreciate his kind, strong, positive and light perspective that shines through his teaching.
His classes focus on facilitating powerful in-body experiences, anchoring one’s mind here and now to create a calmness and peace when eventually coming to stillness. In class, you will find the right amount of guidance, accessibility, and challenge. Shane shares insights from different internal arts, spiritual traditions, movement modalities and holistic health practitioners which can be used as ways to bring one’s yoga practice beyond the four corners of the mat into day-to-day life.
He believes wholeheartedly that Yoga, in its many forms, is a tool anyone can use to cultivate more passion, meaning, love and awareness in their life – ultimately to be able to share the best and brightest version of oneself with all those they encounter.
