Kirsteen has taught hundreds of yoga classes in this community over the past 12 years, mainly at Queens University. She’s also been a devoted yoga student for 30 years, completing many training courses in Canada, India, Bahamas and the United States.
Kirsteen’s classes emphasize proper alignment in the physical postures, as well as yogic breathing and relaxation. She’s most strongly influenced by studies in Sivananda Vedanta Yoga – her teacher training was in this tradition – and Iyengar Yoga.
Kirsteen teaches regular hatha yoga classes; Yoga for Taming Stress classes and Relaxorama workshops; as well as yin yoga.
