Adrienne is a Janati Yoga School YTT-200 certified yoga instructor.
With a background in aesthetics and knowledge of anatomy, Adrienne was originally drawn to yoga as a way to supplement her intense fitness schedule. An avid runner, cyclist and aerobics and spin instructor, she felt a need for balance.
More recently, she has recognized the need in our busy world for more grounding, more awareness and more stillness. However along with this, is the importance to move our bodies in ways that honour each of us individually.
Finding yoga was a great asset in overcoming personal physical pain. Discovering in doing so that our yoga requirements differ as we are all assembled differently, she was drawn to teacher training.
Sensing her path, she has always sought to help others feel good about themselves and live strong and healthy. Adrienne is passionate about sharing the knowledge that has been shared with her; reaching out to perhaps guide others along the path of healing and peace.
Currently pursuing certification in the International Association of Yoga Therapists, Adrienne’s classes have evolved into a deeper exploration of movement. She will guide you to learn more about how you as an individual move and function, how to grow your awareness of your own movement & compensatory strategies & how to apply this to daily functions to achieve whatever goals you may have. Safely and effectively.
Classes are led with clear verbal instruction, demonstration and sometimes-but-not-always hands-on guidance, for which you can opt in or opt out at any time.
